Becoming a
patient educator

Who is eligible…

Our patient educators are not only people with the condition or their carers and families; they can be healthcare professionals or anybody who contributes to the charity where that contribution has an impact. You will need to demonstrate a track record of commitment to the charity’s objectives. –

Volunteer for us

Volunteer for us to help the charity with its activities is a responsible position. To represent the charity at events and in a formal capacity, you need to go through a process to make sure you are safe to interact with others as a representative of the charity.

You will be required to go through a formal process where we will give you all the tools to be safe and effective.

To satisfy our rigorous compliance around volunteering, we will require you to undergo an enhanced DBS check and a signed commitment to our governance.
