Welcome to the Pumping Marvellous primary care learning toolkit on heart failure. It has been created by the charity to help healthcare professionals working within primary care and the community identify and deal with people who present with heart failure. It takes the form of case based study learning, reflecting the type of patients that may present in heart failure in general practice. You will see that throughout the process of undertaking the toolkit, you will find people with heart failure explaining what happened to them and how it affects them in their daily life.
The process of registration is quite simple, once you have gone through the registration process you are able to return to the toolkit and pick up where you have left off as wished.
We hope you find the toolkit useful in supporting your practice and the current revalidation process required. Please visit the PUMPING MARVELLOUS website where you will find a range of resources for your patients. All the information you will find there has been produced by patients with heart failure and their carers, but also has the highest form of clinical sign off.
